I bought a Palmer 40 years ago and it came with my name embossed in said foil.
After a few years I removed the foil and replaced it with a hundred dollar bill.
I cut just enough for it to fit perfectly and turned the bill in to a local bank and they accepted it with no problem.
I wrapped the foil in waxed paper and it went with the cue when I sold it on eBay a couple of years ago.
