Hi All,
I've decided (very reluctantly) to move a couple of the Palmers I have in my arsenal. One that I'm really having a hard time with is my Model M. It is the cue that Chris Tate shows on his Model M page of the second catalog cues (the bottom cue with the gold foil name label in the window at www.palmercollector.com). The cue actually has two shafts (one is 13mm and the other is just a hair under - one with a yellow micarta ferrule), both of which are in great shape. The buttcap and wrap have probably been changed somewhere along the line. The cue hits very solid and is very straight for an old timer. The cue is in excellent condition and has some of the best curvy veneers I've ever seen on an "M". The only blem that is even noteworthy is that one of the shafts has a MOP collar which has a hairline crack in it that has never separated. The price on this cue is just under $3,000. Any interesting trades or buyers on this rare collectible?
Regards,
Steve
