I missed it today, but I imagine that they received a silver medal (just like they did last year, for 2nd place). I thought that was kind of silly though (receiving a silver medal for a competition with only 2 teams in it). That silver medal will only remind them that they lost to Europe. It was not a winning medal. Sorry, just my point of view about it.

Yeah, they received a medal for getting last place, in a 2 team competition.
I actually have a second place Mosconi Cup medal. Even if it's second place I still cherish it because it was a gift from a great player and friend, the medal regardless is from one of the best pool events we have. Win or lose the players I am sure like to have something when the cash is gone that shows they were on that team.
