Pat Dieveny cues

Does anyone know how his cues play and the craftsman ship? thanks

I've got two of his butterfly-spliced sneaky petes, one with an ebony forearm. They both hit awesome, imo.

Last time I saw Hennessey he was playing with one. A friend of mine got a sneaky-pete that hits real good. It didn't have a steel joint, it was some kind of epoxy like a Cognesciti (sp).

I have a custom butterfly cue from Pat with a G-10 glass epoxy pin and old growth shafts. The cue is amazing, I love it. Pat is a great guy to work with if you order a custom. Highly recommend a Diveny to anybody.

Pat is local to me (he's in West Liberty, Iowa). He sells quite a few cues locally (go figure LOL) and everyone seems to like them. I have no personal experience, but I can say they look nice.

EDIT: Where is Depue and do you make your way over to the Quad Cities?

IMHO you will be hard pressed to find someone better to deal with than Mr. Diveney. My wife and I both have cues from Pat, with a J/B & another custom on order. The cues we are using now both feature th G-10 pin and wood to wood joint. The hit is simply amazing in both cases. Pat's attention to detail is second to none. I have never run across another builder that has offered everything even on his dime in certain cases to make someone whom plays with one of his cues completly satisfied. The future is very bright for Pat simply because he offers a cue with quality that is on par with the best buliders on earth, and a hit that feels like an extension of ones self. I would highly suggest to anyone to test drive a Diveney as soon as you can. You will be glad you did.

i own a fancy sneaky than pat made not too long back for me. its really a great cue to play with. it may be a sneaky but i get ppl asking about the cue a lot. and pat is super to deal with. i guess he was a little apprehendsive in dealing with me cause im in the far east but if you come through for him he repays back two-fold. i got more than i paid for when the cue arrived. ya, i agree, his cue building future is bright.:D

IMO Pats' Fancy Sneakies play great and look good doin it! Unfortunately I sold a killer jump/break cue with the G10 joint collars, radial pin and underwater salvaged shaft w/G10 ferrule.2e_0.jpg

Nothing plays better

I play with a mid level PD and have a j/b on the way. I've had alot of transactions with Pat and you will not find a better person. I bought a GC2 from him and he installed it to perfection. I consider Pat a friend and vouch for the quality and playability of his cue 100%.

I hope I get my new J/B this weekend...Hint Hint... Pat

Here is a photo of the cue that Pat made for me with old growth shafts.

I have one too. It is awesome. I won it in a raffle. It is a purple heart sneaky pete with a G-10 pin. I usually use it as my break cue. The cue hits great!
