Pat Fleming....Ok????

Easy on your body til you get hit by a F-150 that never saw you.
I know 2 people went for a recreational ride and ended up in the emergency room. Was at a light in Florida where a car deliberately ran a light and almost hit 3 bikers that could not be seen crossing on the green. Forgetabout an F-150… every bumper hurts

Sounds like you have a good life there in God's country. Many years ago I was walking a back country trail with my then wife and I became aware of a mountain lion tailing us. It wasn't that big maybe 70-80 pounds but I knew instinctively I had no chance against it. No gun, no knife, no nothing. I turned and yelled loud in it's direction and it turned tail and ran off. The next time we took a hike I was carrying a .38 snub nose and my buck knife. I'm no mountain man, that's for sure. I just liked to explore the back country of California when I was younger.
Jay I totally understand those darn mtn lions are way to common now days and the Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks dept won't allow sportspeople the opportunity to harvest them to get the number down to a reasonable amount .
Or even allow a quota on trapping or snaring them it's becoming a regular thing that a child or a woman is attacked and sometimes killed quite possibly because they tried to run away from the mtn lion , which means game on to the lion !

Besides that they're fantastic eating when slow roasted ha ha

Rusty, I was really starting to feel my age (81 now) and my body was getting weaker. I exercised only intermittently, maybe only once a week with floor exercises. I did walk occasionally but not on a regular basis. Last month I decided that I really needed to do something or I was going to go downhill fast. I started walking a mile every morning and it was really hard the first few days just to make it home. My legs and hips were sore and I was very fatigued. After a week or so I began to do better. A month in I'm walking faster (a good steady pace) and doing that mile very easily, with little strain. It's become my morning habit to do that mile no matter what.

The best part is my overall health is a lot better. I've got more get up and go! I also do sets of lifts with 5 pound dumbells daily. That's about it. I'm in a Race to Hundred with the world so I've got to stay in stroke. Good luck buddy!

Weigh training is where it's at.The fountain of youth.Muscle mass is elementary, use it or lose it.
I just started lifting again at home with medium weight dumbbells again and after three workouts, along with stretching feel like am reborn...

And to those who are going to say that Mizerak didn't work out, nor did Buddy...who knows how long and possibly better they could have played had they kept in better shape...

In the town near me they have a walking trail that's kept up better than many of the roads in it , at times you may see people walking on it and on occasion some dip stick driving a car down the walking trail ha ha but they normally only do that once ha ha .

I also need to work out and walk a lot more than I do .
Walking is great but after our twenties, mucle mass decreases...if you start lifting weights you won't believe what it does for you...

I totally agree with you hello , A friend of mine in Fairbanks Ak is still the reigning " Bull of the Woods " in the logger days 2 man buck saw competition he's now in his 80's and his partner is his son .
Pete works out daily .

Jay before I forget again I was just up to Great Falls it's growing like crazy with 2 very large cranes working at Malstrom Air Force Base !,

Exactly, great going Jay!
You should definitely continue your strength training. Strong legs and core will make all the difference in the years to come.
