I don't, but I do know he was told about my tenon forward, one-piece tip ferrule combo, before he got his patent. He may not have known about it before he started but he knew it before the patent was issued. May be why I never got one of those warning letters so many others got. If I really thought it was worth anything, I could continue making them and let McDermott sue and in the end I would own the patent, or at least have it nullified. But to be honest I think the one piece combo breaks too often and a tip ferrule situation is better if done properly.
