Brown phenolic around the joint? What the heck for? Lol...

It's a nice players cue, and I've been meaning to try a Dayton...
How would you say his work compares to the rest?

...and how would you rate his shaft stiffness relative to other cuemakers?
Just gimme someone it might be similar or close to in terms of playability....

A steal of a deal

Dayton's work is top notch.
He is quite popular in Japan, forward balance, soft but crisp hit, especially with his Ivory Ferruled cues.

Ive owned 2 of Paul's cues, seriously undervalued cues.

Kenny I'm surprised it's lasted this long.....

Pauly thanks for your input.....it's much appreciated!!

i was interested in the cue,and was wondering why you are getting rid of it so quickly and cheaply.however it is hard for me to buy from someone who responds to my question as you did.i guess i will pass.

And I totally agree with this, I have 2 of his cues now, his piloted joint is a little softer hit, the radial pin cue is perfect IMO, Ive ordered a new one, similiar to the one above but with the Buffalo horn joint and ferrule. David

I'll bet if you give Paul Dayton a call, he would have a reason for doing it this way. ;) David

I had almost the EXACT SAME CUE except it was rosewood. It had the same joint, same color phenolics and so forth. In fact, the cue I had came out of the same batch from Paul as Snowmons did. I sold it to clear some room and raise a little $$$ but as soon as I shipped it out - I regretted it. It hits very, very nice as do all Daytons.

At this price, no way can you go wrong.

Worse case - sell it in the fall when prices are higher than they are this time of year.

Pinocchio, SirBanksAlot thanks for the kind words. It is a nice cue at a very fair price......This cue was not purchased off of ebay. I purchased the cue new for my brother from Bushwhacker....unfortunately he's grown attached to one of my AE's so this cue needs to go......
