Candy.
Keeping in mind any time I want to let it go back, this Cue has a home:
It shoots strikes out of the box.
No getting used to it time involved.
Point and click.
My first PFD Studios Cue is a winner.
The cue astonished me.
It only go back to the man which supplied the wood.
There is no monetary interest saying these things about how great this thing plays.
It plays great.
Nick :)

Thank you very much.

Beautiful wood. Looks like an ash shaft as well.

I agree. This Cue has a cool history and one great story to go with it.
I always have thought the no wrap Cues are the stunners.
I feel lucky to have it.

Thank you,
Nick :)

OK, you MUST tell what the great story is with this cue. I am dying to hear it!

Can't tell.

Thanks for asking. The story is not mine to tell.
Thank you for the compliment.
The joint and buttcap are Ivory. Everything else white probably is that also. I am not for sure.

I can speak for the butt of the cue, that everything white is ivory.

My buddy found the wood used in this Cue on his property.

Paul is his buddy. The work is very clean. We were trading Cues here and there and some how he sent this one. Seeing it I told him he was way to kind. He told me that it could only go back to him and I can see why.

Nick :)

NO wrap PFD Q

Just to be clear - the wood is spalted ELM it came from the Shadowmoss forest - he cut the wood and had it "laying around" - when I saw it he gave it to me to make him a cue - and yes the second shaft is ASH, also from the Shadowmoss forest - we cut the Ash logs up together 3 years ago in his sawmill - must say it is/was the best Ash I have ever seen - straight, tight and clean.

ps. not your cue AL - your new one IS on the way . . .

I have to say and will edit the first post.

I was wrong Mr Paul

I played with this Cue yesterday for 2 hours before taking out my player. I didn't miss 4 balls. Your taper makes this Cue shoot so freaking straight.
I wouldn't hesitate to make this my take out player and I might just do that.
Great job,

Nick :)
