It never ceases to surprise and still amaze me that prominent public figures, like actors, athletes in a variety of sports, and even philanthropic billionaires can be recognized for their accomplishments in their fields of endeavor to only subsequently learn about their passion for helping others in need while steadfastly avoiding being recognized for their generosity and unselfishness. It makes their image stand a lot taller in my mind and worthy of recognition and deserves praise even today.
