I bet it barely gets 70 on ebay.

Retail price has little bearing on used cue values in the market.

The '72ish X300 is the best looking production cue I have ever seen. Pure class.
By the way, I'd pay premium ducats for one, if anyone has one.

Thanks David appreciate the help. I did some leg work lol. Not bad since i bought for 70 dollars. Does anybody think it will have a little more value than 100-150 range since it was 389.00 new.

Don't know since the have newer models for sale on their website , i've always liked their designs , i'd hang on to it , it is a nice cue .:thumbup:

Yes. One of the things I admire about the Viking company is their excellent website, at which you can access all their old catalogs!

I've always liked their cue designs , if a had some extra money i'd get a couple of their cues on sale at their website , several between 100-200 dollars.

Viking joint

Off topic, but related.

Did the Viking joint in late 60's, early 70's, have two sets of threads? One threaded prong down into the shaft, and another set of threads at/near the collar?

Could be recalling incorrectly. Those were some hectic times.

Only remember Vikings and Tads in that era, in our area.

Sorta remember big tips (14-15mm ish) that were conical shaped, with the larger 'base' used to contact the cb.

'course..memory could be wacked..we didn't sleep a lot them days.:sorry:
