who pays for pay pal fees.If i sell a cue for $2000 and it is sent pay pal and $50 is deducted from my money,is that the way it is
customarily done?or does the buyer usually pay?

If you are selling on ebay for example you (the seller) will have to pay the fees.
If you are selling privately like here on AZ it is up for discussion.

People I do business with often know they don't have to ask me to add 4% paypal fees I do it automatically,
however if I am making a deal and the fees are not mentioned then most likely I will not add anything.

pay pal

I have seen it both ways,
where the buyer pays all fees, and where the seller pays all fees.
I think you just work it out with the buyer before hand,
good luck...

Hi,
If the buyer sends the payment as a personal transaction, Paypal charges neither party.
The purchaser loses the buyer protection offered by Paypal. I have found the sellers local police department offers an even better service if the deal goes south.

Seller is hit with ALL PayPal fees. It's up to the seller to put it in the price, collect the fee from the buyer, or eat it.

if I'm selling I cover them unless I list an extra fee for using paypal

I have been paid using paypal when no fees were taken
