Will be selling cue on Ebay with payment through Paypal, is this a secure way to get payment? I have heard of stories where people retract payment after product has been shipped, any info would be appreciated!!!!

Never send merchandise without ensuring you have gotten paid.

Enter a tracking number in the eBay form when you mark the item shipped (prevents a later claim of "item not received" after you've lost or thrown away the shipping receipt) and make sure you describe and photograph everything about the cue 100% accurately. "Item not as described" claims are a favorite for anyone with bad intentions. Good luck

Paypal can be a good way to buy and sell. If you are the seller make sure that you have a trackable method of shipping and a way to confirm that delivery occurred. If it is a high dollar item I would require a signature.

The buyer has no way to retract payment via paypal. The most they can do is open a dispute which might hold the funds in limbo while the investigation occurs but if you have evidence of shipping and delivery you have not much to worry about. I would also insure the item in case the buyer tries to say it was damaged.

There is always a little bit to be aware of because a 3rd party is involved in holding the money and they make the final decision if there is a dispute but I have been involved in buyer and seller disputes on paypal and they all have come out in my favor when I provide proper documentation.

I would try to sell them here, Ebay could be tough action.
Same with Paypal, just be sure and keep your head on a swivel>>:smile2:

Seriously, Paypal is very sercure and most of the horror stories I have heard were quite a while ago.
I think security has been stepped up since then.

Good luck, what are you selling?

Providing tracking info is the key. If they can track your shipment, then you'll how no issues basically.

I have a $500 transaction pending to Tiawan and have the same concern. Anyone have experience with paypal in the international realm? I really am uncomfortable moving forward with this sale. Any advice??

Send as goods NOT as gift as you definitely won't be able to send a dispute on a gift.

Insurance also as mentioned....when in doubt ESCROW FFS lol.

Expect to wait 21 days for payment after u have shipped... N if the buyer is nasty... May take longer...
