Paypal Disaster

I recently had a very bad experience with Paypal. This all started with a fund transfer from my office PC. For some reasons, Paypal believed that the fund transfer was illegitimate and limited my account. Paypal also put a temporary hold on the fund that I transfered to the seller. In order to secure the sale, I did another fund transfer from my second Paypal account and hoped that I could cancel the first transaction after my account is restored. After many phone calls to Paypal, I finally had my account restored.

When I asked Paypal to have my first transaction canceled, Paypal said it can't be done and the fund has to be released to the seller so he could issue a reverse payment. With the hope that the seller would do this, I asked Paypal to release the fund. But now, the fund just mysteriously disappeared. It never went to the seller's account and neither reversed back to mine. Paypal told the seller that the fund is reversed back to my account and told me that the fund is released to the seller's. Awkward enough, Paypal even refused my request to verify if the fund is actually as the seller said, not in his account.

So now, all I can hope is that the fund will reappear in one of our accounts and hopefully, it will be mine......

I have been a member of PayPal since day one and the only reason I still use them is because 90% of eBay Buyers have NO cash and must use a Credit Card thru PayPal to pay for the auction ... I have been totally screwed by PayPal (as a Seller) on two occassions ... If you are the Buyer, they protect you ... If you are the Seller, WATCH OUT !!!
