i recently bought a case from chris on line and when i paid for it by paypal i made a mistake in typing and he never got it. so he asked me to check it and i did. thats when i found that i had indeed mistyped the wrong email address. (jino instead of juno) anyway. i cancelled the thing and resent it with the correct address. Now paypal has taken money both times from my account even after i cancelled the 1st one. I have sent paypal an email letting them know of this eror and would like my money back. no response. so how do i get it back or is there a number i can call to corect this.??????....mike

After the initial recording finishes just push 0 and then say account resolutions and someone will actually answer the phone, don't mess with the automated crap it'll just run you in circles.
 
hey mike.. i had a similar problem with Jw Petree... i bought a scruggs cue off him for $1650 and i sent him the money via paypal.. but i wanted him to ship it to another adress then what i had listed.. just because i knew somebody would have been there to accept the package.. anyways.. he refunded me the money so i could resend him the payment.. it took almost a week.. because when he sent the money back, paypal automatically credited the card it came from.. so at that point on my credit card, it showed the charge but it took 3 days before the credit came on, and then i had to wait untill it readjusted my available credit to resend the money..

so if you had them remove the money out of a bank account.. you would have to wait untill it officially clears paypal and is deposited back and then you would have to wait untill it clears that so it shows up..

so far my only paypal compaints is that they take tooo much money from you when you recieve money and the delay in waiting for things. i am so glad i have never had problems like some of these guys are..

you should have your cue case soon.. let me know when you recieve it! thanx again... chris
 
thanks chris....sorry i missed ya yesterday at the tournament. the guy at the table that had jeanettes posters and had the bus trip come up told me you were there. but alas... i left early.............mike
 
Sometimes the refunded money stays in your paypal account and doesnt go all the way thru to your bank. I've had that happen on refunds or cancelled payments before. Check your paypal balance it might be there.
