Paypal sending money to family member instead of Seller?

Not through AZB, but i have bought things from people and I've told them while negoationating that the only way i am sending the money is through as Goods and services

So I proposed the seller a fully secure offer: send me the shaft and then I'll send you the money FF.... You can trust my itrader and the deals I've done and you maximize the money you receive. He replies that he's a trustworthy god fearing man, and he just wants half the money FF because he didn't have enough funds to mail the shaft. 🤣
Hmmmm...NOPE!
Thanks all for the guidance and feedback! Your opinions reinforced my suspicions and kept me from making an impulsive decision.
Mods, let me know if you want his username.....

New member.

No transaction history.

No posting history.

Wants funds sent to a third party.

No Goods and Services.

IMO, if the shaft got lost in the mail, that would be your best chance of ever receiving it.

Run, don't walk away.
I agree with this 100%

People who have been here a long time and have solid reputations are the only people I’d do biz with.

I have done lots of biz here over the years. Sometimes with people whose screen name I recognize but don’t really know. Small or large I’ve never had a bad deal ever.

It’s all about picking your spots.

Sure it’s hard for “newer” members. But isn’t life? Have to pay your dues. Like anything. My reputation is 100%. I’ve spent a zillion hours on here answering questions, gambling. Learning, sharing. Buying and selling. Or just talking biz in PM’s.

All that sweat equity has earned many peoples trust. There are 3-4 guys off the top of my head, probably more on this site that would send me $100,000 in cues tomorrow morning on my word in a PM. That’s not a flex it’s a fact, as I’d ship them $100,000 and not think twice. They earned my trust.

Point is the day I logged on here I couldn’t get an orange 5 bought without pre-paying for it.

Trust is earned and it comes with time and trades. Reputation.

I only deal with reputation as a buyer, not product or price. That’s secondary to reputation.

As a seller, if someone doesn’t trust me-that’s their decision. Doesn’t hurt my feelings. But I know if they do their homework they will know there’s zero to sweat.

Even when I was broke and flipping cues before the internet, my reputation was perfect. I learned then how important that is.

That’s my biz lesson for the day

Good luck out there,

Fatboy<——-a deal a day keeps the doctor away. Feels good to be in action!

A Revo is not hard to find or rare. Why not just go through a reputable source to acquire one?
Say man, come see what I got in my trunk. Ima hook you up……..😉😉

Cue sale in fatboy’s trunk, I got dvd players, VCR’s beta and VHS, Nintendo, cues, shafts, and some warm coats my boy got off the doc at his cousins work.

Ima hook you up……

All jokes aside guy used to come to the pool room once a week with a trunk loaded with hot merch for 25¢ on the dollar. I didn’t buy, but he always was out behind the pool room around 10-12Am for a quick minute selling what ever he had. Back in the 80’s.

I’ve came along way since then,

Fatboy

He wasn’t putting bricks in a box and selling fake VCR’s. I seen that too. $50 was the play on that scam.

Agreed 106%. There's a lot of potential value added by purchasing from authorized sellers.

I bought a new Revo and there was a rattle inside, though it played fine.

I used it a good bit for a few days and was glad to be able to send it back for a full refund.
