Pechauer pro plus deflection?

Considering getting one of these shaft but can’t find much info in regards to deflection. Anybody know how these compare to current predator 314-3 shafts in this aspect?

I think they deflect quite a lot more. IMO.
But i only shoot short test drive on my buddy´s cue.

I use the Pechauer Pro+ Lite (11.75) and Z3 (11.85) shafts. I literally alternate racks at home between these two brands, find they play pretty similarly and like them both very much. They require a more accurate stroke, in my opinion, which I like coming from a snooker background. Deflection is comparable, both feel solid and have nice tapers. The Pechauers are a bit heavier than the Predators. I do prefer Pechauer's ferrules, though. They seem a bit sturdier and certainly stay cleaner.

This is an over simplification and I expect to get hammered for this post

I have shot with all of the major low defection shafts and when doing a straight test shot with cue tip one tip off center on a 9’ table shoot
Center to center shot there is about 1 20th of an inch difference between all of the good LD shafts.
The consistency of build and construction I pick Pechauer every time. They stand behind their stuff no matter what and USA made.

That being said I play with Jacoby Pechauer and predator shafts

I would say play with them hit with them and pick what you like

Problem is you should have the same tip and same butt when your shooting. Find a dealer who will do that for you and you will see what you like. When I was in the business that is what I did for the customers. We had different brand shafts with the same tips to make an accurate feedback for the customers.
No one can tell you what to buy as they are not you.

By the way when your shot that test shot the cue ball will come off of the end rail and go directly into your position corner pocket. That is how you tell your hitting the same shot with each shaft.
A person at the other end marks the rail where the hit is.

And just for fun I took a 30” standard shaft and cut it down to 29” removing the ferrule and putting the tip directly onto the wood and then changing the taper to what I wanted and performed the same test and it was as accurate as any of the LD shafts using the same tip and butt.

Good luck

I have the P+ (12.5 mm) and the light version in (11.75) (both in 30") . I am not good enough to have any difference in deflection effect my game too much. :) I do find I gravitate more toward the regular P+ as I feel i strike the CB more consistently, but that could be all in my head.

Jeez man. If that's what you do for fun, I wouldn't want to know what you'd do when you're serious :ROFLMAO:
