No, its a 5/16 14 pin thats only halfway threaded. The insert is then bored out to accept the unthreaded portion of the pin.
You can however have the shaft worked on, ie new insert and joint collar to match up to the butt if you choose. But you might just be better off changing shafts unless it is your unicorn.
