Thinning out the heard for other ventures. I've had this cue over 15 years and it hasn't hit a ball since I sent it to Scott at Proficient for a refinish...gotta be over a decade ago easily. I know Pechauer made them around the mid 90s after sending them pictures of the cue and getting the story behind them. Im sure there are others but this is the only one I have ever seen and according to them was made for the Texas Express 9-Ball tournaments as a prize to the winner or a donation for a drawing or raffle. They were not produced as an everyday purchasable cue. Unless there is a brand new one of these out there, you wont find a nicer one. The cue is in fantastic shape overall and only has some chalk on the tip from being stored in a case.

Butt - 14.9 oz 5/16x14
Shaft - 3.95 oz 12mm original shaft, closest to the cue
Shaft - 4.05 oz 12.7mm this shaft came with a few Tim Scruggs cues I purchased, no idea whether Tim made it but it fit the cues and fits the Pechauer just fine

Here is the cue on Proficient's website http://www.proficientbilliards.com/cuerepair/index.php?/category/365

Nice cue, Mr. Pechauer made a batch of cues for us to give away, raffle, promote, while doing the National 9=Ball Tour that evolved from the McDermott Tour. Many other cue makers helped us out along the way, and their names were included on the flyers and print ads that we were running in most of the billiard publications of the day.

It was a small batch.....10 or less....but very much appreciated.
