Pelucid™ is super clear, super glossy, and an unbelievably tough yet flexible coating that dries to a clear-as-water, rock-hard finish that won't crack, chip, peel, or yellow in sunlight, and is actually strengthened by exposure to moisture, rather than weakened like most coatings.

Thanks for the link, it seems pretty good from what I was able to reseach it so far. It's been around for 5 yrs, but I never heard of it. Maybe I'll give it a try someday.

Hey your right, I forgot, I copied and pasted into googles search. Thanks for catching my slip-up Dave.

It has a few idiosyncrasies that I don't much like such as 2-3 weeks before trying to rub out and a flash point of 90 deg. F. My spray booth is hotter than that when I am spraying.

I spelled it wrong........that's why it didn't google for me.
These two things are enough to make me say no way for now and probably for always.......

Can Pelucid be Buffed Out and Waxed Like Other Clearcoats?
Yes, but wait several weeks after application to make sure it is fully cured.

Is Pelucid Flammable?
Yes, it has a flashpoint of 90°F. When using Pelucid (or any solvent-based product), do not smoke and keep your work away from open flame. After cleanup, soak soiled rags or towels in water to eliminate possibility of ignition.

I live in 100+ degree heat for part of the year!

Sounds like you better keep the air on or you will spontaneously combust.
