I tried to get `kokapelli` as screen name.AOL said that it was not available.Then I tried `kokapelli 1,kokapelli 9,real kokapelli and no luck.Finally I got it approved for `Phony Kokapelli`.

Thanx Phoney. Tell her she IS that GREAT of a singer....and if she wants to send me a demo that would be awesome. I know no one in the recording business, but I'd surely enjoy listening to it.

I am sorry, but I can not e-mail you. I am one of those girls who runs from the Kokapelli...especailly the Phoney ones. ;)

Wally, I have to agree with Landshark about Line's singing. She's good. In Peoria she has done some singing in the lobby. It was alot of fun. She does play pool well too. Maybe she will come back to the tour sometime soon.

Dea..notice how he said first round is on him. That means the next is on you...watch out!!

Sadly, the reality of a tournament is that you really can not take in everything, just as you can not watch every shot in every match when there are 8 matches going at once.

Somehow I missed the big sing-a-long in the bar in 2004. I subsequently heard that Line (and Dawn) was in fine voice that night. I was however priveliged to watch VV and Belinda Campos and some other unnnamed desperados playing the piano in the lobby and entertaing the gathered masses. That was fun. UNfortunately I believe the piano has been removed from the lobby since then.

Perhaps if another songfest breaks out we can cajole Melissa Herndon into contributing to the festivities. Rumor has it she sings quite well.

Well, it turns out I'm not going to be able to make it to Peoria. I hope you all have as much fun as humanly possible and I'll be following the tourney from here!

Hey ya Dea,

this sounds like some sort of existential question which my feeble brain is not equipped to answer.

All I know is we will be there hoprefully for the first round Thursday and tranmitting major karma to Sarah Rousey and Mellisa Herndon and Carol Clark and Jenn Barretta and Ga-Young and VV and Jeanette and anybody else I forgot and it's hard to pick favorites because there are so many that we admire

Dea said she is probably not going to make it to the tournament because of a family emergency. I am hoping she will make it, but family is more important for sure.

Our AZ group is dwindling before our eyes here. I hope everyone has a safe trip to Peoria.

I am terribly saddened by this news. I was hopimg to talk to Dea a bit more than I did last year and I know she enjoys the tournament :( :( :( :(

Considering the health of my elderly mother the same fate xould befall us.

Sarah, I usually prefer to offer only polite applause but, if you have a rooting section as boisterous as the one last year when you were engaged in a knock down drag out struggle with Romana Dokovic, I may indeed lose my sense of decor and and exercise my lung capacity to its fullest extent.

My best wish wqould be seeing you play for a tv berth in the last matches Saturday night. I am looking forward to it.
