Peter Vitalie Table

I recently purchased a pretty old {I Think) Vitalie table. The frame is really plain. but the legs are kind of fancy. There was the number 29 stamped
into the wood on the top of the frame. See picture. Does anyone have a clue what this meant. Was it the 29th table they made. There are no other markings
on the frame. It has Ardesia Biggio slate. Any insight would be appreciated

Thanks
Kev

PV's been out of business for a long time. I wouldn't worry about what's marked on it. Probably some factory/inventory code.

Table not together yet, but here are some pictures. I really appreciate your expertise.

Thanks

It is NOT particle board. I think it's pine as it's a softer wood. It was stained, but it was partially sanded off, so I sprayed it black. The
legs were also stained.

Do you know what years they were making tables ??

Thanks

He's talking about the backing wood on the slate. Sure looks like p'board to me too.

Attached pictures. In Pics 2 &3 the top board appears to be plywood with a thin veneer on each side. The other pics are the side pieces
of a different wood - maybe particle board with a veneer

Thanks

I forgot to mention that on the top of the base frame there was NC on each piece in magic marker. Maybe this was new old stock that was marked for shipment to NC from Ca.

thanks
