PFD Studios Snake Juma/Bois de Rose Segmented Cues with Sleeved Shafts in O'Neil Case -

I had an idea a few years ago to have built a Bois de Rose segmented cue. As it evolved, I thought it would be interesting to do the same cue but in reverse out of Snake Juma. Paul Drexler agreed to build both as well as execute the ring design. For an added twist, I asked Paul if he would sleeve the shafts in a similar manner to the Palmer Model 20 to which he also agreed.
This was a nice project on which to work with Paul and Ellen. The Snake Juma was tricky and the first forearm snapped while being turned.
It may be deceiving but the rings in each butt contain 72 inlays and the rings in each shaft 48. So Ellen had to cut a total of 336 pockets and with tweezers insert 336 inlays. And that does not include those in the joint protectors not yet completed.
