For Sale: Purpleheart dowels. These are all freshly turned yesterday and today to 1.5" x 18" or 1.5" x 20". My moisture meter reads between 8 and 9% on these. They are not deep dark purple so if you looking for that... keep looking. These vary in color but have nice dark striping through them. Many are very iridescent with some curl but uneven figure. Grain is mostly straight and at the size you can move the center so they will finish with grain centered.
The first group of 9 are 20" long and have fairly even figure the whole length. These are $7.25 each. These are numbered and can be ordered by number. All of this group are SOLD.
The second group of 8 are 18" long and have even figure 13"+, than it tapers out on a couple of them. These are $5.75 each. These are numbered and can be ordered that way also. All of this group are SOLD
The third picture shows 18" and 20" rounds on end. You can see the striping well and the pieces will have some character not just purple color. Price for the 18" lengths is $4.75 and for the 20" lengths is $5.25. I am selling these at random, if you want 5 18" pieces than I will just grab 5 of them for you. Good for handles, forearms/butt sleeves or cores. There are 35 18" dowels and 22 20" dowels available.
