AnitoKid, what can you tell me about Antonio Lining?

A couple of years ago this Filipino guy in one of my leagues said he's one of the greatest players in the Phillipine's. He said his nickname was Nikoy, but that he wasn't known because he didn't participate in any of the top tournaments

Lately, i've been noticing him more and more

Filipino pool player Antonio Lining, aka Nikoy, hails from Mindoro.
Nikoy is left-handed and plays for the Negros Billiards Stable
of businessman and pool patron Mr. Jonathan Sy.


Nikoy is a 1st-tier player here in our country, like Efren, Django, Van-Van, Boy Samson, Luat, etc.
He is turning 48 this coming May.


He has a number of successes in Japan. Notable recent finishes
include a 1st runner-up finish at the 2010 China 9-Ball Open held at the Minya Hotel in Shanghai,
a 3rd Place finish in the 2009 World Ten Ball Championships, and championship in the 2006 Japan Open.
He was also a gold medalist at the 2002 Busan Asian Games.


Nikoy is a very nice guy too. And I kid you not!

Souquet just blanked out Nikoy...

I think Souquet is in stroke and is on the way to get his very first Philippine soil Championship.
