Whle I think politicians are either dirty snakes or snake oil salesmen, his shocking personal attack on Obama some weeks ago was way out of line .

I had a conversation with a Philipno family last week about this, they also told me about the drug dealers, but from their story what they heard from family back home, they are going after people that are either not drug dealers or those that operated with the full knowledge of the government. Sounds like the old witch hunts, does not matter if you are a witch, as long as someone said you were or you were part of a group that seems a bit odd, like those Muslims they likely wanted out of the area.

His war on drugs and crime will likely have more success than what the brilliant Thaksin tried to do in Thailand but faced establishment opposition and hidden hands.

what is the ratio of users to dealers in the p.i., and, if it's true that the dealers are all being executed, what happens to the addicts... Phase 2?

sounds like a good old fashioned purge/purification.

maybe the players will defect and build a vibrant pool community here or somewhere else.
