Philly people: carom tables in the Philly area?

I want to get into carom billiards, but the only place I know of that has a table, Drexeline Billiards, is a haul for me. Do you know of any other places within reasonable distance from West Chester, PA? Center City would be okay too, as long as the neighborhood isn't too terrible.

In case you're thinking of The Billiard Club in West Chester, that table was sold about a year ago to an out-of-state buyer.

Drexeline has two billiard tables that see quite a bit of use everyday.
If your in West Chester its closer to you than the other rooms that where
mentioned.

Stop by, it's a friendly crowd with all levels of play.
Very easy to get a game and plenty of old timers that don't mind helping
with a little advise.

I almost took a job in Philly and a heated billiard table was the 2nd thing I checked...Drexline looked like the best option.
 
club med location is closed

he does not have room for a carom table at his new facilty in mechanicsburg. Joel is looking for a new location now.

Special rate in afternoon.
12 to 5 is $8.00.
There are some young players just learning
and no hustlers. Lessons can be had. Ask for Art
