Phoenix area

Cue builders...

In Tucson there is only 1...that would be Keith Nickerson.

In the Phoenix area I know of Bryan Mordt. There may be a couple more.

Bryan Mordt.

I think his website is http://bcmcue.com/

Makes some awesome cues, and does very reasonably priced repairs and such ( even small stuff like tips and cleaning and stuff) if he's not too busy. He's a very nice guy also, and easy to deal with.

I think some guy bought balabushka and another co. that is up here. I don't really think that counts as a cue builder (since they are production cues I think. Unless that's what your after) though but will work as an option for some. Bryan Mordt is by far and away the best cue builder we got. The other guys up here aren't in his league. As for maintenance, Jaz at metro is top notch. Bryan and jaz both are easy to deal with and good guys. Pretty sure Bryan posts on here.

Phoenix Cue Builder

Bryan Mordt does build an excellent cue, but the best Value on a cue is probably McFadden Cues. Terry McFadden lived in Denver until about a year ago and probably makes one of the absolute BEST playing kinda plain 4-pointers with nice veneers and simple ringwork for an extremely fair price. I have played with many high end cues (Scruggs, Phillipi, Martinez, Judd, Bender, McDaniel, Mordt, Josswest, Cog's, etc. and would put his for playability WAY up there. In my opinion, one of the if not the most underated cuemakers around. Let me know if you would like his contact info.

Good Luck!!
