Hi, I saw a link on one of the sneaky pete threads about schmelke cues and I was impressed with the price and that you could order a 60" shaft. Soooo after registering twice and trying to order I couldn't complete the transaction. There is also no way to contact anyone at the site. Doesn't make me feel all warm and fuzzy while I'm trying to give up my hard earned money.....Does anyone have a direct phone number cuz their website sux.

Umm, their phone number is on the front page of the catalog available as a pdf on their site .... it took me about 20 seconds to find it.

60" shaft? Is it made out of Ebony?
A shaft made of ebony? That would be heavy and ugly too..It's maple, I liked the idea that you can customize a sneaky pete, all the cues I own have custom shafts that are longer than the norm, I currently use a custom omen with a 60" shaft so I wanted that on a sneaky pete.

I still didn't see the # you found in 20 seconds... after waiting 3 minutes for adobe to load for the catalog I saw zip but I will try the # from the snomon.

It's there ... perhaps it's your computer or internet connection that is slowing things down. From where I sit the site is clean and fast, and has their phone number listed. I've had many respectable folks (imo) say very nice things about doing business with Schmelke, and in their defense I just wanted to point out that your experience with their site may not be typical.

<edit> OK, it's an 11.5 M pdf, so it could load slowly on some setups, but I could see the front page with the phone number about 8 or 10 seconds after I clicked on the link above ... your milage obviously varied but their site is still fine imo.

Yea I talked with them about two weeks ago. Not only will the build a longer cue for you but they will distribute the length where you want it so you could have a 60" with 30" in the butt and 30" in the shaft.

I think you mean a cue that is 60" long in total length. A 60" shaft would be a little long. The shaft would longer than a standard one piece cue and would be rather awkard to carry. That shaft connected to a standard butt would be close to 90" and unless you have a rather long wing span your grip hand would hardly be past the joint.
