:: Photo Report // 2014 China Custom Cue Forum @ Beijing ::

I'm a collector with a (very) small collection. I just don't join in live groups going "ooh" and "ahh" over long, hard wooden poles. I also don't see the point in denigrating people for choosing to not spend thousands on the same.

Nobody denigrates anybody, since when have you seen any seasoned AZer trash someone else's production cue? If you didn't realise i was joking about the burning guys with production cue bit.

Similarly during the custom cue forum we speak to anybody and everybody who wants to know more about the cues. It's not a closed forum. A lot of them who visited were using Mezz or some local production brand, they love custom cues but never had access to these cues let alone see these cues in flesh. As for the rest who have custom cues they don't know much about other makers and we try to educate them on other available makes as well.

I don't actually need to patiently explain our cause to you and can just blast at you but i'm in a good mood.

I really enjoyed looking through all the displays and cues. Thanks for bringing a little culture to AZ. :) :)

Best,

What cue nut (like me) would NOT want a chance to attend one of these shows and drool over these works of art?? I don't see anything pretentious at all with these generous collectors like Chady taking time to display these magnificent cues. I only wish I had an opportunity to go to this one.

I remember at the cue show here in Houston back in....2007 or 2008? I cherished the opportunity to see those cues, meet one of the Glen family sons and see a portion of their collection, etc.

My personal thanks to Jive for taking the time to post these pics so the rest of us could enjoy them :)
