Photos: World Cup of Pool Qualifier

Those are great photos. I recognized a few of the faces. If you get time, please insert the names of the players. If you did that, I'm sorry that I missed it. They all seem so polite to each other in the photos. :smile:

Who is this guy on the right? I've seen him before and I can't place it.

hmmm...the left one is Jayson Shaw of Scotland...not sure about the right one right now....

Thanks for letting me know. I've seen that guy somehwere, and I cannot remember for the life of me. I love pool pictures. This is a great thread for me to enjoy! :smile:

He was once or twice at the US Open and took part to almost all the Straight pool World Championships since it is back on the calendar.

Oh, now you just jogged my memory. I know who that is. He actually posted on our forum here. I was trying to help him get his Wiki page going, as I recall. He also received a little sponsorship funs for the Open by a couple AzBilliards members, I think.

Exactly, you are right. He has a strong college and amateur snooker background and went to pool when he left GB for Geneva (Switzerland) for working, a bit less than 10 years ago.
In 2006 he won a Eurotour. After that win he has played regularily in international events and has ask here for help to go to the US Open...
