I'm seeking pics of ebony forearm cues with different finishes.
To compare:
1: High gloss finish VS.
2: Flat Black finish (edit: all other finishes not high gloss)

I'm trying to compare so i can spec out the cue i designed, with the proper look.
Please add any info. you may have about technique.

Flat black?

Like grill paint or something? LOL

Do you mean an oil finish or something similar to a "Satin" South West?

Looking for pics with all different finishes on ebony. We can leave out the
grill paint cues, they are just to hard to come by, to even dream of owning.

The funny part is that I have seen a birdseye South West Satin cue that someone painted black to pass it off as a rare Ebony one. It was discovered when the owner sent the cue to be cleaned up and as the cue repair guy was polishing it his rag turned black. LOL

I saw the cue after a light sanding and it was sick. Absolutely ruined.

I will look through my pics and see what I have of ebony cues.

Budwiser cue coated with bbq black paint true stealth. Or wraped in electrical tapeend to end . I had a friend wrap his joss west with tape to play in local bars.

I saw Big Arm John with a loaded JW that he had painted black so he wouldn't spook the fish in a particular spot. Blew my mind. He said "What? It comes right off with lighter fluid" LOL

Would not have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes.
