Hopefully I'll have my taper bars done this week, going to go to my companies panel shop and do the work there. Got all the flat bar and parts i need
By the way I just drew that up this evening....it turned out really sweet, honestly building the taper bars will take me less time than it did do draft/draw it lmao, no wonder people use CAD...at least i had something fun to work on tonight, funny the pic nearly looks like its an actual taper bar when i finish shading the flatbar you might not be able to tell lol....at least not till i get a better camera
Being the pneumatic tech that I am, I'm using the stuff around our shop I have handy. some 3/8" thick 1" wide aluminum flatbar, 3/8" thick 1 1/2" wide rubber stripping, Stainless nuts, allen bolts (may switch out to regular bolt and keep socket handy on bench it would be quicker ) washers, lock washers.
Still have to design the mount tho I'll be mounting this up to Todd's professional model.
Trying to set it up as a super portable work station thats light and easy/quick to change or remove/install.
Eventually it will be a "Baby-Tower Delux" lol...that way when i get the delux from chris I wont ever have to take it out the shop.
got a wrist cramp,
