Does anyone have some pics of Lenard's shaft machine's. I would like to see some good pics of the one he made with the large grinder or buffer with 2 saw blades on the arbors mounted under a table I think these were manual not cnc but not sure but would like to see all his multi head machines and if you own one what do you think about how they work. If you don't what to post in a public forum you can pm me or send them to my email niklich@yahoo.com

I have the 4 headed saw.

this is a picture of it. Since that pic I have moved and have yet to get pics of my new shop up on the site.
How do I like it. Well lets just say it is running right now while I am on the computer. It works great. Got it last year and have made a boatload of chips since.

Thanks for the pics looks like you have a lot of toys in that shop. I can't tell from the pics how the machine moves for the taper does the saw blade head move up and down?

The aluminum frame that the shaft spindles are attached to is mounted on a taper bar. The frame is then pulled forward by the rotating lead screw to cut the shafts from one end to the other.

Travis, Mr. H, is mistaken, there is no taper bar, it's full blown CNC, the taper come from within the programing. The blades [ the 4 are on the Z axes], and by going up and down, it profiles the products, the 4 shafts are moved via lead screw, [ travel is 31"], which is operated from the programing in the computer, the W/A [ rotating axes], is the axes that turns the products, shafts/dowels/handles/cue butts, and forearms...

Hi Lenard I rely don't need any more tools right know I just don't have the room. I was just talking to Cory Barnhart about some tools and had an idea but no more room for anything new at this point. I already have a cnc inlay machine in a spare bedroom at my house HAAAAAAHAAAA.

MAYBE somebody is coming up with a saw machine where the blade moves.
Not the wood.
I have a feeling someone's on it.
