Pics of inside 314 & Tiger ferrule

I thought some of you may have interest in seeing the inside of the ferrules from a 314 & Tiger shaft. The 314 ferrule is on the knife blade...the Tiger ferrule is in the V of the knife. Both ferrules are a bit thin for my taste. These pics are from a discussion in another thread on this page about the OB-1 shaft if anyone has any interest. The other pics are the same two shafts now complete with Grice ferrules and Sniper tips, and of course my monster jump/break cue.

Funny, not that anyone would care, that play with a 314, Sniper tips, and have a phenolic resin tip break cue as well.

Your pic of the Tiger Ferrule is a bit misleading. That thinner walled area only goes on for about a 1/16" and the rest is solid.

I will see if I can get a pic up of the ferrule alone in the next few days.

There has only been one account of someone actually cracking one of our ferrules (Ivorene-3) and that was none other than Jamison Neu. If you have ever watched Jamison (www.jamisonneu.com), you will understand why.

Your pic of the Tiger Ferrule is a bit misleading. That thinner walled area only goes on for about a 1/16" and the rest is solid.

I will see if I can get a pic up of the ferrule alone in the next few days.
