I have been trying to post a cue for sale, but whenever I select a picture to upload to my post it shows the name of my pic, then says Uploading File(s) - Please Wait then says no file selected???? any one have any words of wisdom? Thank you.

This works for me, on a windows computer:

1. Take the picture, either from smartphone or camera, whatever.

2. Download it to your computer, either with emailing to your address, USB file copy, or whatever.

3. Very important. Open the picture, then click on Microsoft Picture Manager. Your picture is probably too large for AZ to upload, it's just the default that cameras and smartphones do. Click on Resize, and select Large Document. That will do for AZ.

3. Now, back to AZ. You can't do this on Quick Reply. You have to quote a post, or reply to a post, not quick reply. Then, say whatever you want, then go down to Manage Attachments. Click on that icon.

4. Once you've clicked on Manage Attachments, it brings you to a window where you can search your computer for your picture. You may have to click on My Computer, or directly to Pictures, whatever. By then, you've downsized your picture to Large Document. Then select that picture, and click Open. Then click upload. Then, go to the bottom, to close the window, as the picture has been downloaded. Then post your reply. Your picture will be there in your post. And, the right size.

All the best,
WW

Especially if it's a Joss.
Or a Viking.
Or a McDermott.
Or a Sailor.
Or a Rich.
Or, an unknown garage project...:D

The Doc will be on the lookout... As so will the rest of us.

Have a feeling it may be an Adam???

That's hard to believe that windows 10 doesn't come with an option like that.

Well, christ, here's your only option. Take a picture with a smartphone, and resize the picture right then. Normally when you save a picture to Gallery in Android, it asks you if you want original size, and various smaller sizes. Pick the smallest, and save it to Gallery. Then, you can transfer that picture to your computer, or get on AZ right from your smartphone and upload the picture, with Manage Attachments.

Best of Luck.

What the hell is it with Windows 10 that it doesn't let you edit photos???

LOL!

I am currently trying to complete the Cervantes Gandy catalog. Keep your eyes peeled.

And...I may let some cues go...maybe...stay tuned.

I have a lot of cues coming up for sale, Ernie Martinez, AE, Bludworth, Nova, Todd Elkins? pretty sure, Prather, Schon..But darn i suppose I may have to go the eBay way if I can't get pictures to work here. I have done it the same way for years and now it just doesn't work anymore. very frustrating.

No worries.

You are a respected member. We'll post your images for you if need be. Just PM me if you like.

I believe at least several will be watching immediately since you announce several cues for sale. Give AZB a chance to work.

I promise you I will personally draw attention to your sales to buyers and may be a buyer myself. You have been there for me several times and even sent me a vintage bumper once for nothing.

For those that don't know I will say this man knows his cues and is a solid character.

They weren't posting from my iPad, I needed another app to resize them.
I ended up emailing them to myself and resized them that way.
Probably not the most elegant solution, but it works.
