Having trouble getting file size low enough to post pics. I've set camera at lowst setting & they're still too large. I'm resizing them w/ Irfan view. Any help out there? thanks Tim
 
What photo editor are you using?

When you click "save as" it should ask about image quality or size. Select "low" or maybe "2" as you need to get under the size restriction for the post.

Daniel , i have a windows program that works awesome.. affectivley you right click on the pic and select resize and then what size you want it to be and it does it for you.. works great with lots of pics too..

If using Irfanview, choose the image, resize option and then in the "width" window, enter 400, 500, or 600. The right window will change automatically. That will be small enough to load and still big enough to show detail. I usually use 500.
 
The microsoft powertoy for XP is the nuts! Just right click & resize without losing any noticeable detail. I also use irfan view for further editing.

yeah.. i thought it is a very usefull program.. especially when you can highlight 1000 pics and resize them all without having to do one at a time..
