Thank you for all your hard work in getting ESPN to show some carom billiards. I am amazed that you got them to stay away from the usual gadget shots. Based on ESPN's history of cue sports coverage, I had expected they would insist on props, extra balls, and people with cubes of chalk in their mouths.

I apologize for being so negative beforehand.

Some of the shots they were shooting in practice were even more amazing. Massey did a 10-cushion shot with a pattern I had never seen before, but in practice he extended it to 11 cushions. He also had a delayed follow shot that was something like: OB in the middle of the foot rail, cue ball close by with a half-ball cut to run the ball along the rail. Hit hard with follow and the cue ball bounces off the foot rail, goes past a ball on the head spot (roughly) and then dives forward into the corner and comes out to the ball near the head spot. He didn't do this in the competition.

Sayginer's "S" shot was also a surprise.
