Here are some of the pictures I took at the SBE at Valley Forge. Some of these are pros and some are amateurs, but all are pool players.

This is a statement I am forced to make.
These pictures are for your viewing pleasure. Use or reproduction of these pictures is not permitted without my written permission.

Good shooting Rich. 300 2.8? Do you spot meter or use matrix average?

Shooting guys with shaved heads is tough at a pool table!:D

Very nice pics. You're obviously a good man with a camera. Hell, you might even be able to take a picture of me that didn't look bad! Now there's a test!!:D

Hey rich the guy in picture 5 was at Mr Cues last night in a big match with Johnny Archer and Cliff Joiner and Stevie Moore ! (They were the finalist anyway ! Thanks for the Pics!

That guy was hanging around Johnny a lot at VF too. I'm guessing he is trying to pick up some tips. :D

It is a 70-200 zoom, but, as with a lot of digital SLR's, the sensor is smaller than a normal 35mm format, which gives me a telephoto effect equivalent to 1.6 times the marked focal length.
My camera lets me choose from a few metering modes. I use the center-weighted average metering mode.

I never ceased to be amazed at your pics Rich! They are just top notch! Nice to see a couple of my friends amongst the pros, too.:D

For the person that mentioned it, yes Rich can make anyone look good. My avatar is proof! :D

Brian in Va - still working to be as good a player as Rich portrays me!

Thank you...

Great shots...The combined intensity in those photos looks to be off the chart.

Great pictures and it's nice to see Kim Davenport back in action again. He's always been one of my favorite pro players to watch. He's got the fundamentals down as well as any player i've ever seen play the game.

Rich those are fantastic!! Now if you could only make me look a little friendlier when I'm shooting. :p I've never taken a picture while shooting pool where I looked happy or nice - but that's probably the best picture I've had taken of me while playing! Thanks... can I interest you in snapping photos at some regional events?

Brian, you are too kind. I appreciate the compliment.

I just had to slip in a couple of pictures of those great Richmond players. :D

With your new table, I'm sure your play will be surpassing my portrayals, in no time.

While playing, you have to think happy thoughts, to get happy pictures. :D

I'm sorry to say, I don't think I can be of much help. From April to the end of September, my schedule gets crazy on weekends. I can only make it to a few events, Sunday only, and, normally, I can't stay late enough for the finals. I wouldn't be doing a very good job for you.

Hi Rich,
Did you use a tripod/monopod? What camera do you use, if you dont me asking?
I really like the pictures.
Thank you once again.
Regards,
Richard
