Seyberts is featuring Jim's Torrified shafts for $320. Not bad for a torrified shaft, I guess.
Only available in 29" and 12.6 or 12.7 mm w a LePro standard.
Does anybody make 30" shafts at 13mm that don't cost next months house payment??

Ran into Jim Pierce at Railyard while I was at Derby. Got to hit a few balls with it and it felt good initially. Was an in-between of double baked and normal kielwood as far as color.

I believe the Diveney Trans K dark roast are 400 bucks +/- ringwork options.

Thanks 4 the Deets!!👍🏻

It's not wood but if you want the best 30" shaft for your buck the Rhino CF are great. It really brings into perspective how much they overcharge for torrified shafts and maple, considering they aren't tight grain quality maple like in ye olden days of yore.

I can pay ~$180 for a CF shaft any any joint style in multiple tip sizes. Who wants to pay over $300 for a shaft with 6 rings per inch? Not me.

I've played with a Diviney torrified shaft and they play great. Pat (and son) always do quality work.

There’s Hsunami, but those will be among the most expensive of the baked maple shafts.

I know Bill Lister is making his own as well and I’d assume them to be considerably cheaper.

I’ve never tried Diveney’s, but based on the general playability of his cues I assume they’re tremendous.

Thanks for that. I bought a rhino during that Xmas madness and like it. Tip left something to be desired, so I'm having a LePro put on as we speak. I imagine T shafts hit similar.
Wouldn't mind having one in the case for shits and giggles. Lol.

I've owned the V1 of the Hsunami and still own a Diviney. To me the Hsunami felt less stiff. Not whippy exactly but more like a Meucci which I don't care for.

Like a Meucci??
You sure you didn't get a bad one?? Lol.😂
Just kidding.
One would think they'd be stiff as a, well, board. Lol. Baked board.🤣

Jim's kielwood shafts play really well. I have one of those, and one of his old-growth shafts... both are really good playing shafts.

My grandson made the mistake of asking me wtf an old growth shaft was!! Poor kid. I went on a 20 minute definition and verbal vomit that had his eyes crossed after ten of those!!🤣🤣
Needless to say, I'm a fan of those tight, even lines only found in the older shafts on custom cues. For the most part.
I'm sure they have wood today that's similar, but the music isn't the same. Different feedback altogether imo.
