Can someone tell me the weight difference (in tenths of an ounce) between a 3/8-10 stainless steel pin, and a 3/8-10 glass G-10 pin?

Thanks, Ghost

I don't need to do this...but in the interest of a reality check, I decided to address both the repeated juvenile, low-character, jibe by "tylerdurden" re. my match with John H....and secondly, how disingenuous, unintelligent, and incorrect "tylerdurden" is, in his analysis of what my One Pocket knowledge consists of, and represents.

As for my One Pocket knowledge...the uncontestable truth here, which throws "tylerdurden's" analysis into the trash bin, is this:

An extremely experienced One Pocket player (myself, in this case) doesn't have to play, or even have ever played, at a top-speed/professional player level, in order to have the highest possible level of One Pocket knowledge, vision, and strategic understanding of the game, and to teach and instruct at that level...and this fact is proven out with a parallel to other sports...I'll just give a few examples, out of the many that exist - these few, from the worlds of baseball and basketball (although we could also cite examples from football, and other sports as well)...

Baseball: two managers who are ranked on all lists as being in the top all-time baseball managers:

Bobby Cox - And what speed of player was he himself when he played? 2.25 lifetime MLB batting average.

Tony Larussa - And what speed of player was he himself when he played? 1.99 lifetime MLB batting average.

Basketball: two head coaches who are ranked on all lists as being in the top all-time basketball head coaches:

Pat Riley - NBA career? - was a bench reserve his whole career, never a starter.

Phil Jackson - NBA career? - was a bench reserve his whole career, never a starter.

Well bummer, I can't find it now,but the same question was asked not long ago and I found a website with all the weights of the different material pins.

Try searching on my UserId in this forum - I don't post too often, so if you select "Show Posts" it shouldn't take you long to find that entry.

From Ghost to Ghost this is for you brother.......please drive around to the next window for your order.

3/8 x 10 Pin Stainless 1.1 oz

3/8 x 10 Pin G-10 .04 oz

so that .07 oz difference

note: these pins have a slot cut out for glue relief so it takes just a bit of weight off the original.

have a nice day and come back again,

Something doesn't seem right. That would be 1.06 difference.

It's going to be real close to 7 tenths of an ounce. The pins can vary slightly in weight, but not too much.
