Black Boar Cue

Are Black Boar shafts worth this much. It is kind of miss leading, but kinda clear at the same time. What do you guys think!
 
the auction clearly states what it's for. i don't see the issue. if someone doesn't read the description that's their problem. just my thoughts.
 
I posted on this auction a few days back... The bidding looks to be shill bidding and I am sure the bidders were too quick to bid and did not read what they were buying.... Several retracted bids are shown....

I think the shaft is only worth $150... $200 tops.
 
It is clearly stated in the discription. the title is a little confusing though "custom cue shaft ,black boar cue". I'm sure the shaft isnt worth $400? It is now :)
 
you think thats bad... last year a few bidders bought the Xbox 360 "Box" for over 500 bucks. The description said clearly that it was the "Box" only and not the system. Always read carefully when on the bay.
 
Here's what it says:

"A rare hard to find . one black boar cue shaft . stright no dings or nicks. never used . I'am selling this shaft. Due to the fact that i already have two others for my black boar cue . Don't need three of them. custom made from the man him self tony. It is 14mm and is the one, If you are looking at the pictures is the one with out the chalk. The shaft is the one right next to the black boar cue. one other thing THE cue is not part of this auction . the cue is not for sale. you will only get the one shaft that is right next to it"

How on earth could that be a scam? It's very clear.

I knew it was not a scam, I was simply trying to state that by the price it was bringing. Someone thinks they are buying the cue too. But then after looking at the bids, I think it is a scam. Some one is bidding the price up, so a last minute bidder thinks it is for the cue as well.
 
Apparently someone is willing to pay $401 for a BB shaft. It they didn't read the whole description shame on them. 14 mm is a real piece of lumber. I don't know why anyone would want one that size.

At least they will be able to take the shaft down to the size they want...definately an attempt to decieve...
