Place to play in Lemoore CA?

It looks like I will be going to going to Lemoore for four months at the beginning of August, so I am looking for a place that has 9 footers that I could work on my game. If anyone knows of an instructor in the area, that would be something I am interested in also.

I know that Fresno is only 35 minutes away so that would work for me if anyone has information about Fresno?

I usually go to The Rack on Blackstone (Fresno) whenever I'm in town. I used to go to Rebco Billiard Faire in Clovis but they queered their business with me when they didn't let me play on their 10' pool table. The locals tell me there's a new hangout, also on Blackstone, but I forgot the name.

buddy of mine was stationed at whidbey and i've worked with plenty of people that went to school in lemoore. from what they told me the only thing they have there is the worst air california has to offer and a freeway so you can find you way out. a buddy of mine that went to school out there plays pool he never mentioned any pool halls out there
 
Well it sounds like I will be heading to the Fresno area to find a place to play. Also, I have heard the air isn't the greatest there and I will be there for the worst of it so I doesn't sound like a bad idea to get out of the Lemoore whenever possible.

The weather in cali's been way strange this year. really cool i don't think it'll be too bad for you.

What's your rate? you going for instructor duty? never mind i just remembered you said you'd be there for 4 months.
 
I'm an AME, but I haven't worked in my rate since I made Chief. Crazy, I have 19 years in and they want me to learn a whole new aircraft. I have been stationed here for 19 years so if you or your buddy's have ever come to Whidbey and played pool, I am sure I ran into them one time or another.

The family is driving down with me and we will be spending the 4th of July week in Concord with some friends. Anything going on in that area for that time frame? The wife will probably kill me, but it doesnt hurt to ask.

My fault, I am going down as a student so I am in for some long days, lol
 
There is Combos in Clovis no more Rebbco. Diamonds on Blackstone and another Diamonds off the freeway in Fresno.
No big tables in Lemore or Hanford but a few bars that are fun.
By daughter lives in that area. I have been visiting her and selling pool cues around there for years.
PM CAPOOLFAN. He lives in Hanford. He can probably steer you to what is happening presently. Visala is also near. Have fun at Aldophos 2 or 3 bar boxes right outside the base.

Man the whole air wing's changing. my buddy that was stationed there was in 640. i forgot his last name i always just called him jimmy (cpl type)

if you dig bar pool you ought to check out vinnies in concord. they're good tables and all the players play well. or if you don't mind driving you should try crown billiards.
 
Good Pool Hall in Fresno.

Hey, Marie's Husband. Go to Diamond Billiards on n/e corner of Sierra and Blackstone. They've got about 20 9 ft. tables and 2-3 coin operated bar size tables. Everythings clean and you can play between 11:00 am and 6:00 pm for $30.00 a MONTH! Nights get busy and cost $3.00 per hour if thats your playing time. You can usually get a game for money or for fun, just ask the girl (One L is her name pronunciation) and she can usually fix you up. I'm taking off and traveling for a couple of months or I would introduce you around. Good luck to you.

Sounds like Diamond Billiards is the place to go and it look likes about a 30 minute drive from Lemoore If you are a regular there then we might run into each other if your back from your trip.
