places to play in Houston next week

I've never been to Houston before, but need to go there for work next week. I'll be staying Mon and Tue night. I did a little research and found the following places. Are they all still open and if I can visit only two, where should I go? Which places have weekday tourneys? Which are the best action spots? Thanks in advance.

It would definitely be helpful to know where you are staying. I was in Houston 2 weeks ago staying at the Hotel Derek in the Galleria. There was a Slick Willie's about a mile from the hotel that I played at that was decent but only had 2 - 9' tables. I did spend a day at Big Tyme while I was there and had a blast. Really cool people there and their tables played great.

Deep Pockets is closed..., Bogies is a good place to see top players and action any day of the week. Big Times is 10mins from Bogies and is a good place to play and see action on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

There are Slick Willies on every side of town (7) nice place to play, not much action. Fast Eddies has 3 location, with action at the Fuqua 45 south location. Barnies has 4 location tables arent that good.

Fox and Hounds has 3 locations (Diamond tables) no action!

Theres a Clicks on HWY 290 good location, some action there every day.

Ledgends has action every day all day.., There are to many other places to name but there has to be a least 10-20 other out of the way places to play and find action.

I ran into some good one pocket action there. I didn't have a wheel barrel of cash with me, but I still won a little and had a bunch of fun.

I'm not sure I'll be able to check the wheelbarrow on the plane as baggage...
 
On Monday night, Bogies has a weekly 10 ball tourney. $15 entry,usually 16/20 players. Best action places are always Big Tyme Billiards then Bogies. If your out there pm me, maybe we can match up and play somethin.

And if you go to bogies you can always hit bigtyme also, its about 7 minutes away. Its the newest and cleanest room around.
