places to play in north carolina , (ashville-hendersonville)

going to be traveling next week to hendersonville north carolina and just wondering where is a good place to play , will have my teenage son with me , so a place he could get in would be great , any suggestions ?

Fatcats in Arden NC about 15 min north of Hendersonville is a good place for you and your son to go play. Also a place in Waynesville about 30 min away, haven't been yet, but both of you can get in fatcats and probably both places. Hope this helps,JSS
 
Fat Cats is THE place to go. 16 tables and pool is free M-F from 11-2 if you buy lunch, and the food is good. Great atmosphere, serious players, yahoos coming in just to bang balls around is a rarity. I'd live there if my husband would let me.

Not sure what the evenings are like. There is league play on several nights and you might not get a table.

2345 Hendersonville Rd. Go N on Asheville Hwy/Hendersonville Rd. (the name changes along the way). Two lights past the Airport Rd intersection on the left. :)

Fat Cats is the place to go in Asheville. I was just there over Thanksgiving, the other place in town just got new owners but the tables are pretty bad. I think its Play World on Merrimon Ave. Just save some time and go to Fat Cats...
 
Fat Cats is ok butt its a sports bar with furniture tables, the best place is cue and spirits, its about 3 miles past catz in the K-mart shopping center across from the rush fitness complex. Def. the best tables with simonis and a great local crowd been there 20+ yrs.

DAMN I wish I had known about that before I went down! I thought the tables at Fat Cats sucked but did not know about anything better. Tables played slooow at Fat Cats, I'll definitley check out Cue & Spirits the next time I'm in town.
 
Depends if your a player, fatcats have Brunswick furniture style tables, cue
and spirits have nice brunswick with a poor choice of cloth, bucket pockets
and neither place has has enough bet in them to pay a light bill, looking for
action on old brunswicks with 760 simonis, shimmed up nicely, and, the only place in town for action, Playworld on merrimon
