Then what would you do for a 7ft?I instantly thought to build a 50x25 inch spot placement jig with a laser crosshair.

Simple on AZB is not comprehendable, it has to be explained in rocket science before anyone will trust simple is betterLMAO at people complicating such a simple and easily accomplished task. I've even heard of people using lasers to try and find the center.
A simple TAPE MEASURE is your best friend here.![]()
Measure the distance between the long rails, divide by 2. Use that number and measure from the side and bottom rail and put a tiny dot on the cloth where they intersect. Place your spot very lightly, then measure to the center of your spot until it measures the same from the foot and side rails, adjusting as necessary.
I have seen dudes bust out 2 lazer levels!!! I was shocked and happy with how easy it was for them. My way is simple too, but I definitely want LAZERS IN THE FUTURE> on another "complicated" issue, people did bust my balls about this one and i still do it my same way :LMAO at people complicating such a simple and easily accomplished task. I've even heard of people using lasers to try and find the center.

they were done in about a minute and the spot was on there PERFECT. I think this is your solution from what you just wrote! : )Whatever makes you happy I guess. I'll always try for the most efficient and accurate ways to do things.![]()
