Plain Cue

Hey everyone,

New guy here. I've recently started playing more and I think its about time to step up and purchase my own cue as opposed to always using house cues.

I've been looking around a lot and I can't seen to find anything that I like, aesthetically.

It seems like every cue maker is just interested in producing super ornate cues.

The only cues I have found that have the looks that I want are the:

Predator Ikon 2-1

Predator 8K1

Do you guys know of any other cue that have similar aesthetics?

The model I linked is linen but they do have a wrapless just like it

I just always have reservations about a painted cue. I mean, if it is good quality wood, which I think is mandatory for proper feel, then why on earth would they cover it up with paint.

Every cue maker I am aware of makes plain cues. Not sure why you are not finding them.

None of the high quality cues listed are painted.
Which cue do you think is painted?

Mezz is my pick since the 1st ones in 1999. UJ-10

J Pechauer ~ PO3-G ~ About $350 - $400. If that's too much, get a Schmelke full splice sneaky. Either way, get 2 shafts! good luck
