Player rating question...

I'll go with D.
But Fred...that would only leave 3 numbers (5-7) to account for A, B, & C players. If a 4 is a D player, what would a 1 or 2 be? :shrug: I always have seen D as the lowest rating, in letter rankings. :grin:

That depends on what number system they use. If APA, a C player would be a 3-4. It also depends on the relative rank I would think of other players. In a local tournament with weaker players that handicaps 2-3-4s, the top player could be a C player that's a 4, in a room with A and B players, he'd be a 2.
I would put C at 5-6 (APA)

B at 7-8

I agree with this. I play as an 8 and am prob B; C+ at times.

Ratings have morphed over to what major handicapped 9 ball ratings are, and they range from 2-12. They are usually equated to what 'money speeds' are too. A 12 is pro speed.
A D player is a 2.

An A+ player is an 10, 11
Now, if your handicaps range from 1-7, a D player would be a 1, a C player is a 2 and 3, a B player is a 4 and 5, an A player is a 6, and an A+ player is a 7.
