Does anyone have this shaft or can anyone confirm that the taper is conical ( European) I'm trying to find the right LD shaft for me & I think this might be it. It's less than 1/2 the price of the Z, OB ClassicPro, & the i3 & 2/3 the price of the Lucassi Sllim. I have an Ob Classic & an i2 that I got from nme007 but I thing the smaller tip w/ the conical taper might be the ticket for me & at the price it would be an economical test but I can't seem to confirm the taper. Thanks in advance for any help.

Do you KNOW if the 11.75 skinny is a conical (European ) taper?

I've been playing with the McDermott I-3 (11.75mm tip and European Taper) for about 2 years now and have been more than satisfied with it's performance. The small tip diameter allows me to strike the cue ball with geometric precision when using english. I was fortunate to buy a used one here on this forum for $125. I have sent it in twice, during this two year period, to McDermott for maintenance. Shaft cleaning, sealing, and new Moori soft tip is free but you do have to pay a $21 charge for shipping and handling. Can't ask for more than that. Hope this is useful information in your shaft selection. Good luck in your quest.

most 11.75mm shafts have conical tapers, but the players and lucasi skinny shafts have more of a pro taper. i don't think the taper is stiff enough for a cue that thin, the ones i've tried are kind of whippy
