Player's room in Boston?

I think his name is Bo. Maybe 35 years old? He is either a very strong B or a low A player, based on the couple sets we played. He was friendly and it seemed the whole room knew him and liked him. A good houseman IMO.
Yep, I know Beau, He beats me in 1p.

He is a good guy, likes one pocket quite a bit, probably his best game. Patient player that can outlast his opponents in one pocket. With a lot of the older rooms gone, Amazin, Snookers and Yale (In CT) are the top 3 players rooms in New England. Shaw has his A1 pool hall in the southern point of CT but I don't think it has as good of a level of play as the other 3.

That Rasson you did not get a chance to try out is tough. Tightest pockets in the room and speed control is a bit tough on it, it's fast. The tables around it are also a bit tighter and faster than the rest of the room, it's a bit of a pain in tournaments going between the different tables. Those are the tables that most often have put me on the losers side in their tournaments LOL I do pretty well on the other tables but start to get out of line on the faster ones and end up having to kick or shoot harder shots because of the position issues I have on them.

Next time you are in the Boston area send me a message, I can meet you in one of the places. Billiards Cafe in Ayer is a nice casual place with a great atmosphere if you want a less competitive place to shoot at, but you won't find any money games or even tough competition there, almost all the players there are lower level, under 500 Fargo. They do have a 12" snooker table that is almost never used if you want to shoot on one. Amazin has one also but it's used more often.

OK great, will do.

Every time I get up to Amazin's I can't consciously decide to play pool instead of billiards, but I need to re-challenge Beau so I might have to make it a long day.
