Hi all, I'm going to Miami and West Palm beach and the surrounding areas for vacation in a couple of weeks. I'll have a rental car. Is there a player's room anywhere in that area? Thanks!

Besides Sharp Shooters, you have New Wave. The best room in Miami is K&K Billiards which has all Diamond tables last time I was there. The only room I saw in Miami with them. If you are in the Treasure Coast area, you have Shooters Billiards & Raxx Billiards, both excellent rooms.
Said you were looking for a players room. Sharp Shooters has 9' GC's and mature shooters . Raxx recently eliminated their 9''s 
but Shooters in Port Saint Lucie still has 11, 9' Diamonds and is a very nice room if you're going to venture that far north. Shooters Has Wed. evening Fargo handicap 9 tourney. (possible action there) Never been to K&K.

vero beach has poolies south (action probably available all games...pm me if interested))

Stix in Stuart has 8 Gold Crowns. Free pool all day on Sundays and from 4–7pm with 2 drink purchase.
That’s actually a really big area.
Between Miami and Palm Beach (driving north) there are several good rooms with full size tables and decent action in 9-ball and one pocket. Three that I know are:
Hollywood – BEYOND BILLIARDS – Tony Robles and Anthony Meglino (Fargo 765) play out of here and the food is great
Hollywood – LUCKY SEVEN - very near the big Hard Rock casino/hotel in Hollywood
Lantana – PARADISE BILLIARDS – wonderful classic room with monthly tournaments with $2,000 added, the owner is Pete Margo’s cousin

Here’s the South to North list, and where I’ve been in action.
Lucky Seven. Action every time I’ve been there.
Beyond Billiards. Been there 7 or 8 times. I seem to always miss the action
Paradise Billiards. There’s action there.
Shooters. Nice Blue label Diamonds and action the only time I was there.
Poolies. Action the only time I was there.
On a side note if you’re interested in 1P, Tom Wirth is in Delray Beach.
